Salary: $28 - $32 per hour

A bit about us:

We are seeking a Laser Lead to oversee second shift laser cutting operations at our Santa Ana facility. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity ideal for someone experienced with laser cutting technology and looking to grow into a more senior role. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with Bystronic or Amada machines and experience with fiber lasers. We are also open to training a strong machine operator who shows initiative and drive.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate laser cutting operations during the 2nd shift

Operate and oversee laser cutting machines (Bystronic and/or Amada)

Ensure safe, accurate, and efficient laser cutting of metal components

Support and guide a small team of laser operators (approx. 3 team members)

Maintain production schedule, quality standards, and job documentation

Assist in machine setup, troubleshooting, and program execution as needed

Collaborate with first shift and supervisors for smooth transitions and job handoffs

Job Details

Hands-on experience with Bystronic or Amada laser machines

Strong understanding of fiber laser technology

Experience with AP100 programming software is highly preferred

Ability to read blueprints and understand fabrication specs

Leadership skills and the ability to guide or mentor a small team

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
