Essential Role Responsibilities:
MANAGEMENT TEAM/STAFF

  • Interviewing, Hiring, Training, Development, Reviews, Coach and Counseling, assist in investigations, and working with General Manager -LAX and the Human Resources Manager.
  • Assist with management development plans.
  • Provides feedback for the Terminal Manager, Unit General Managers and Unit AGMs Quarterly Assessments.
  • Attends weekly management team meetings and holds management team accountable for action plans and goals.
  • Develops and ensures implementation of customer service training for all staff.
OPERATIONS
  • Ensures team communication using pre-shifts, team meetings, bulletin boards, shift change meetings and one on ones.
  • Ensures unit schedules are created in accordance with budgeted sales and utilizing Paycom.
  • Holds management team accountable to the company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Partners with Unit Managers to ensure Health Department Compliance and achievement of 90%+ scores.
  • Responsible all security systems are in place and working properly.
  • Regular Facility Walks with Management and team members.
  • Create a culture that promotes a safe and heathy environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Conducts regular audits of company equipment, vehicles, and additional asset
  • Supports on maintaining a professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, food quality and presentation standards, and dress code.
  • Monitors, evaluates and provides advice on process development, compliance and internal controls and provides information and reporting to management
FINANCIAL
  • Partners with the Controller to analyze the individual Unit Financial Reports.
  • Partners with the General Manager and Controller in creating Forecasts sales & budgets
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Five (5) years of food service-related management experience
  • Experience working in Union Environment preferred.
  • Analytical skills and financial acumen required.
  • Positive attitude, maturity and integrity
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Works with a sense of urgency and takes a proactive approach.
  • Critical thinking skills with strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Honest, trustworthy, and discreet with confidential information
