Detailed Position Information
The Department of Political Science at the University of Alabama invites applications for a renewable contract instructor. The annual 9-month appointment will be for a three-year term, subject to satisfactory performance reviews. We invite applications from specialists in international relations, comparative politics, public administration, or U.S. politics. Minimum qualifications: MA in Political Science or related field; with some experience teaching at the college level. Preferred qualifications: PhD in Political Science or a related field; experience teaching courses independently. For more information about the department, see The position begins August 16, 2025.
