Job Title: Test Coordinator

Introduction:
We are seeking a dedicated Test Coordinator to join our team and support large-scale systems projects. The ideal candidate will provide expert-level coordination and guidance on all testing activities, ensuring successful system integrations, specialized tests, and user acceptance efforts.
Role summary
Lead and coordinate EN 301 549 v3.2.1 accessibility conformance testing of at least three native iOS/Android apps, manage schedules and risks, and deliver VPAT 2.5 EU‑based reports and remediation estimates to Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC).
Key Responsibilities:
\t•\tProvide expert advice and guidance on test strategies, test plans, and the selection of appropriate automated testing tools.
•\tIdentify and allocate testing resources required across multiple phases of testing.
•\tPlan, organize, and schedule testing activities, including system integration testing, specialized tests (e.g., performance, security, or stress tests), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
•\tEnsure alignment of testing efforts with project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards.
•\tCollaborate closely with development teams, business analysts, and end-users to ensure testing coverage meets project goals.
•\tTrack and report on testing progress, issues, risks, and outcomes to project stakeholders.
Qualifications:
\t•\tBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
•\tLevel 2 experience ≥ 5 years in the last 10 as an accessibility conformance Test Coordinator
•\tStrong understanding of test methodologies, tools, and best practices.
•\tExcellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
•\tFamiliarity with automation tools and scripting is an asset.
•\tCertification (any 1 of 7): IAAP CPACC/WAS/CPWA, DHS Trusted Tester, ISTQB Mobile, W3C Working‑Group contributor, or recognised mobile‑accessibility certificate OR ≥ at least 3 years of experience as an accessibility‑coordination
•\tFamiliarity with EN 301 549 testing tools (e.g., Axe‑Android, Axe‑iOS, VoiceOver, TalkBack, ARC Toolkit).
