• Setting: Resource Float – ICU/IMCU units (SICU, MICU, Miller 3, Miller 4)\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience in a large teaching hospital\n
• Prior travel nursing experience required\n
• Experience with post cardiac surgery, vascular, trauma-level 1, general surgery, and neurosurgery patients\n
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (required)\n
• Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – NIHSS must be completed prior to start\n
• CCRN certification preferred\n
• Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (no public transportation)\n
• All-season or snow tires required for vehicles November–April\n

\n\nICU Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Float between ICU/IMCU units (SICU, MICU, Miller 3, Miller 4) as needed\n
• Deliver high-quality critical care to patients with cardiovascular, COPD, DKA, stroke, and sepsis conditions\n
• Care for post-surgical, trauma, and neurosurgical patients\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a fast-paced teaching hospital\n
• Work 2 out of 4 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day\n
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR\n
• Participate in bi-weekly orientation sessions\n
