We are seeking a Controls Design Engineer to join a growing team in the Minneapolis, MN area . This role offers the opportunity to work on electrical schematics, panel designs, and instrumentation for critical water and wastewater treatment projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design control panels, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics .
• Develop control narratives for proper system operation.
• Provide design support during manufacturing and commissioning.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure project success.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and propose effective solutions.
• Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and maintain project documentation.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a project engineering or controls design role.
• Electrical CAD proficiency (AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks preferred).
• Familiarity with wire sizing, conduit routing, panel boards, and instrumentation .
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• 2-year electrical engineering degree or equivalent experience.

Job Details:

• Location: New Brighton, MN ( On-site highly preferred ).
• Salary: $70K-$130K (DOE).
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (1-hour lunch).
• Work from Home: Possible for highly experienced candidates (10+ years) .
• Travel: Rare.
• Work Attire: Business Casual.
• No Sponsorship, Background Check Required, No Drug Screen.
